Our Story
Raising IT has a single aim: to make a real difference to organisations who in turn make a difference to the world.
Technology has become a great enabler. It powered Obama to Presidency. It saved lives in Haiti, coordinating response teams and collecting money. Charities have often been behind other industries in benefiting from leading-edge technology. Given our past successes in software and with charities, we set about to change that.
Between our core team we have previously:
built a highly successful international software businesses from scratch to over $100m revenue,
worked for companies serving UK charities such as ACEVO and Action Planning,
managed the online systems for organisations such as Christian Aid, BMI Airlines and Reed.co.uk,
managed the online systems for over 12,000 large organisations including Sainsbury’s, IKEA, Marks and Spencers and House of Fraser,
worked in the design teams for companies such as the BBC for Children in Need and the real-time information for the general elections,
been directors of leading European software companies such as Attenda.com and Biwtech.com.
