About this awesome role

As an experienced digital strategist, you’ll facilitate face-to-face website strategy workshops for our not-for-profit clients to help define their website strategy and map this to our technology for the launch their new website. You will guide and challenge clients through our evolved strategy process to create tailored strategic outputs that will help them drive digital returns and impact. This will arm them with the strategic tools to establish and own their digital presence for the long-term. You will also support other website and digital strategy related requirements across our client community.

What you'll be doing

Facilitating Raising IT's dynamic website strategy sessions:

  • Leading website strategy workshops in group settings following our defined process
  • Preparing thoroughly for strategy workshops to meet the unique needs of each client and being prepared to handle any unusual requirements and internal dynamics
  • Proactively ensuring clients receive advice and information that adds value to their strategic requirements, within reason and appropriate to the Raising IT brand
  • Creating outputs for the next stages of the on-boarding process, and ensuring that they are interpreted effectively by the Design team

Contributing to ongoing refinement and improvement of workshop content, materials and techniques

  • Working with other teams to ensure website delivery processes and launches are in line with client strategy
  • Resolving any non-standard client requirements ensuring these complement strategic direction and match platform functionality
  • Supporting the Sales team as needed to ensure clients website ambitions are the right fit with the platform and identify and resolve any unusual requests
  • Working directly with clients after their workshops to support any ongoing digital strategy questions and request
  • Covering workshop logistics to efficiently prepare for strategy sessions and managing the strategy venue

What we're looking for

  • You are highly experienced in digital strategy development and implementation, website project management, digital marketing, and content creation and marketing
  • You have hands-on technical skills, especially using CMS systems and other digital marketing tools
  • You have a good grasp of information architeture principles and user journey development
  • You are confident and comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences and have facilitated group workshops and sessions at all levels.
  • You are a brilliant communicator able to capture a room and take people on an inspiring journey of digital discovery whatever their level of experience or digital literacy
  • Third sector knowledge and experience is preferable

  • The ability to be hands-on and pragmatic in order to find solutions for client needs regardless of barriers or challenges
  • Analytical skills to review and optimise digital performance and activities using Google Analytics and other relevant tools
  • Leadership skills to influence thinking around digital transformation and its value to delivering income and impact
  • Demonstrable experience in building and managing relationships at all levels to drive action and build confidence
  • Resilience, flexibility and focus with ability to adapt and see challenges as opportunities
  • Ability to grow and take on new responsibilities and self-learn with enthusiasm in a fast-changing environment
